2018 Leeway Winemakers' Reserve Blend

Leeway is our Winemaker’s Reserve bottling — a small-lot blend that changes shape from vintage to vintage based on what shows best in the cellar. The 2018 leans almost entirely on Cabernet Sauvignon, with just a small addition of Syrah rounding out the edges. Black cherry, cassis, and toasted vanilla lead the nose, backed by a savory, peppery lift from the Syrah. The palate is rich and velvety, with well-integrated tannins carrying dark fruit through a long, layered finish that showcases the winemaker’s hand.
