2018 Danger Buoy Sangiovese

Danger Buoy comes from a small parcel of Walla Walla Valley fruit, giving this Sangiovese a slightly different personality than our Red Mountain bottlings — darker fruit, a touch more grip, and a small dash of Syrah for lift. The 2018 shows blackberry and black cherry up front, with notes of dates, cedar, oak, tobacco, and spice underneath. The palate is fuller and more structured, with velvety soft tannins that give it real presence, tapering to a long, spiced finish. We have wine club members that drive to the tasting room each week just to buy more of this wine!
