2017 Danger Buoy Sangiovese

You may come dangerously close to falling in love with this wine -- we would drink it all ourselves if we could! This earlier vintage of Danger Buoy shows the same Walla Walla Valley character that defines the wine — darker, more brooding fruit than our Red Mountain Sangiovese. The 2017 offers blackberry, dried clove, and tobacco leaf on the nose, with firm tannins and a long, spiced finish. A few extra years in bottle have softened the edges just slightly compared to later vintages.
