2017 Leeway Winemakers' Reserve Blend
The 2017 Leeway takes a different shape than later vintages, built primarily on Merlot with small additions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. It’s softer and more fruit-forward as a result, showing black cherry, plum, and mocha on the nose, with a touch of dried herb from the Sangiovese underneath. The palate is round and generous, with gentle tannins and a long, warm finish.
