Terms of Membership

• Club members and anyone receiving wine must be at least 21 years old. An adult of legal drinking age must sign for every delivery, so no leaving the good stuff on the porch.
• Membership is open to U.S. residents only.
• We can only ship to states where Genoa Cellars is licensed. Residents of AL, AK, CA, CT, DE, IL, KS, MD, MA, MI, NH, NJ, SD, TN, TX, UT, and WV are ineligible for shipping due to state liquor laws, but they're warmly welcome to join as pickup members.
• Friends of Genoa members (FoG) receive 2 bottles per quarter.
• Your club charge runs automatically each quarter. We'll bill the credit card on file before each allocation for the value of the wines, minus your member discount of 15% for FoG.
• Quarterly charges currently run $70 to $80 for FoG members after your member discount. Tax is additional and varies by destination, and shipping members also pay a flat shipping fee per shipment.
• We work hard to keep your quarterly charge consistent, but it may vary and will rise when prices on particular wines increase.

The Commitment

• We ask that you stick with us for a full year, so you can experience our full portfolio. Here's the thing: we're a little proud of what we make, and we want you to fall in love with all of it, reds and rarities alike. We're excited to have you aboard for the whole journey (and if it's ever not the right fit, you can cancel anytime).

What's in the Box

• Every allocation is hand-picked by our winemaking team and features Tuscan style wines crafted from Washington fruit, with a focus on Red Mountain.
• Allocations typically pair a mainline red with a reserve red. Limited releases and library wines may make a surprise appearance as they become available.
• Allocations are curated and cannot be customized. Trust us, we tasted a lot of wine to get here.
• Pickup members receive allocations quarterly. Shipping members receive two combined shipments a year, in spring and fall, when the weather is kinder to wine in transit.
• Release dates are subject to change.
• Small lot and member exclusive wines can be scarce. If one sells out, we'll substitute a wine of comparable value and tell you what changed.
• Member perks, including waived tastings and member pricing, live on our Club Options page and may be updated from time to time.

Staying in Touch

• Moving? New email? New card? Please let us know at least two weeks before a release so your wine can find you. You can update your details anytime in your online account portal.
• If we don't have your current info, you're responsible for charges tied to misdirected, returned, or reshipped deliveries.
• As a member, you'll receive occasional club emails about member-only events, release dates, and when your wine is ready for pickup.
• Please add genoacellars.com to your trusted senders list right away so our notes don't end up lost at sea. Email is how we reach you about your account and special events.

Picking Up

• Pickup is available during open hours at our tasting room in the Warehouse District, at 19501 144th Ave NE, Suite C1100, Woodinville, WA 98072.
• We'll email you when each allocation is ready.
• Pickup allocations will be held for up to one year from the release date. That's a generous window, but we do eventually need the shelf space.
• Any allocation not picked up within one year will be donated to local organizations and is not eligible for a refund or credit. It will go to a good cause, but we'd much rather it went home with you.
• Shipping members who'd rather swing by the tasting room can let us know before their scheduled shipment.

Refunds & Returns

• Refunds are issued at Genoa Cellars' discretion. Wine is wonderfully personal, and not every bottle will become your favorite. All club wine sales are final, but we'd love to hear what you think, and your feedback helps us point you toward bottles you'll love.
• Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Wine in Transit

• Once wine leaves the winery, the shipping carrier's policies apply.
• Genoa Cellars isn't responsible for delays caused by weather, missed deliveries, or carrier mix-ups.
• If wine is lost or arrives damaged, please tell us right away. We'll handle replacements or refunds case by case at Genoa Cellars' discretion.
• If a shipment has to go out again, reshipped orders will be billed at the full cost of reshipping.
• In certain circumstances, Genoa Cellars may choose to cover or adjust reshipment costs at its discretion.

Weather Watch

• Wine doesn't love extreme temperatures, and honestly, neither do we. Shipments are timed for spring and fall to avoid summer heat and winter freezes.
• If conditions are unsafe at shipping time, we may hold your wine until things calm down or offer expedited delivery for an additional charge.
• Shipping options and timing depend on your location and the weather at the time of shipment.

Skips & Cancellation

• Let us know if you'd like to pause. We know that tastes and life situations change. Just reach out at least two weeks before a scheduled release so we can adjust before billing.
• Members may cancel anytime. Cancellation requests must arrive at least two weeks before a scheduled release to avoid being billed for that allocation.
• Requests made within two weeks of a release will be considered at Genoa Cellars' discretion, and allocations already processed may still be billed and shipped.
• We'll be sad to see you go, but the tasting room door is always open.

Our Side of the Deal

• Genoa Cellars reserves the right to cancel any membership at its discretion, including for declined payments or unpaid balances not resolved after notice.
• We may update these terms, pricing, and member perks from time to time, and we'll email you about any material changes.
